Health: The Conscious Choice

Choosing to be healthy is choosing to be great! Choosing to be healthy is loving yourself and wanting the best for yourself! Health is the one thing almost everyone takes for granted at some point in their life. I know I have before and now I am working towards appreciating it even more because I want to be great!

I have access to full health care and an abundance of healthy foods to eat, I decided to really take advantage of them and make sure my body is in peak condition. Peak condition looks different for every person. It could be a clear mind, a better physique, or maybe an overall healthier lifestyle. I for one want all three and to be the best version of myself possible. To me health is invaluable because no one but yourself can make the necessary changes. You determine the value of your health, for me it’s priceless!

Never underestimate the value of your health. It is a miracle to be healthy and alive on this beautiful abundant planet. Not everyone has that privilege. Taking care of your body is extremely important and can have extreme benefits physically, mentally, and spiritually! Having a balanced diet is a major key to achieving not only peak health performance but peak life performance. A diet of Protein, Dairy, Fruits, Vegetables, and Grains will give you all your needed nutrients!

  • Protein is an important building block of bones, muscles, cartilage, skin, and blood. This is essential for proper muscle and brain development. If your not getting enough protein you are stunting your growth!

Examples: Chicken, Salmon, Beef, Pork, Eggs, and Beans

  • Dairy products provide essential nutrients such as calcium, protein, and vitamin D!

Examples: Milk, Cheese, Butter, Yogurt, and Ice Cream

  • Fruits are not only extremely tasteful snacks but they offer a great source of vitamins and nutrients!

Examples: Kiwi, Pear, Pineapple, Mango, Peaches, Strawberries, Blueberries, Oranges, and Bananas

  • Vegetables are the primary source of your essential vitamins and minerals. They can be enjoyed at all meals and are extremely tasteful!

Examples: Spinach, Kale, Peas, Carrots, Corn, Green Beans, and Broccoli

  • Grains are super important and provide a source of fiber in your diet as well as other nutrients and minerals. Whole grains are the best to eat due to all of the nutritious content!

Example: Bread, Pasta, Oats, Flour, and Rice.

*Quick Note – Eating healthier is cheaper than you think and will save you tons of money as opposed to eating out!

Consuming nutrient rich foods will lead you to a healthy successful life and even protection from certain types of cancer! Being health conscious is not only eating healthy but also exercising regularly and protecting the body from toxins and harmful substances. It is key to protect the body from the over consumption of substances. Many people under estimate the toll toxic substances have on the body. Drugs and alcohol are the main toxic substances that trouble our communities today. Don’t be apart of the statistics and negative impact on the community you live in.

As I mentioned before having a balanced diet and lifestyle will help you achieve peak health performance. Not only will it do that but it will lead to increased mental health, mental function and mental clarity as well. When your brain and body are provided with the needed nutrients it will perform better. This is a simple but overlooked fact. Feed your body the fuel it deserves!

Main Takeaway: Increased health leads to increased life quality and increased intelligence!
